It is important to “distribute” the money that you want to dedicate to a reform, so that there is a balance between the aesthetic and functional aspect (design), the economic savings of energy and water consumption (energy efficiency), and in those aspects that influence the health of the occupants of said reforms (biohabitability).

The time necessary to carry out a reform depends on some variables on which we cannot act (unforeseen events, hidden defects,…), but on others we can act. What slows down a work the most is the lack of definition of what you want to do, the choice of finishes and indecisions. Carrying out a reform is very exciting, but it can also be stressful. For this reason it is necessary to work on the reform before starting the work on site, when the reform does not come with a project carried out by a competent technician. It is very important that a budget is broken down by work chapters (demolitions, masonry, coatings, pavements, etc..), and by work items (work units) and with a measurement (quantity of each work unit), to have unit prices for each item. Be careful with the issue of measurements. The builder who does not receive any project to make the budget must measure the work units and give a final price without the possibility of subsequent revision. When a project is received with measurements made by a competent technician, these measurements will be used to make the budget. It is advisable to add prices of items that may arise during the development of the work (eg: if you have doubts between doing one thing or another) and that will help us to make the work flow without interruptions due to having to get new prices or having to negotiate a high price between two parties already linked by a work contract with a fixed price.
