Reformas integral en Poblenou Barcelona

Eixample full renovation
Sustainable transformation and cutting-edge design

At Reformayahorra Group, we transform spaces with cutting-edge design to achieve maximum functionality, adapting to the specific needs of each client. Our complete, personalized and cost-effective solutions integrate bioconstruction and biohabitability, with a focus on reuse, recycling and environmental sustainability, which includes energy valorization.

In this house built in 1900 the technician proposed:

  • Smart distribution: Open spaces in the day area, bedrooms isolated from noise and connected areas to improve functionality and accessibility.
  • Innovative kitchen and custom furniture: Open to the living-dining room, designed as integrated furniture in natural wood, with efficient appliances, with an island with a double triple domino-type hob with gas and vitroceramic and a table-top fume hood without tubes, with filtering and air recovery, and accessible furniture such as "car" type doors.
  • Functional and modern bathrooms: Gresite-type ceramic combined with large-format porcelain tiles on walls and floors, a large shower, suspended toilet and bidet and conventional taps, prioritizing space, accessibility and comfort. Standard screen and taps, and bathroom furniture in varnished olive wood.
  • Reused and efficient materials: natural wood enclosures, led lighting, and recovery of the original hydraulic mosaic, under 2 layers of pavement placed on top.
  • Comfort and technology: High-efficiency heat pumps, combined with water heating with vertically developed wall emitters, to make better use of space,

In our renovations we follow a series of guidelines that allow us to offer renovations adaptable to any budget, make spaces flexible, avoid partitions as much as possible, optimize the entry of natural light and use natural materials as much as possible, and we also contribute to the environmental health of the planet by promoting and driving:

1.- Abandon the development model focused on the aggregate growth of the Gross Domestic Product, differentiating the productive sectors that can grow and need investment (for example, essential public sectors such as energy, education, health and sustainable materials), from other sectors that have to decrease due to their unsustainability, especially those associated with the use of fossil or nuclear fuels, mining and non-essential consumer goods.

2.- Prioritize proximity and materialize it, favoring short supply chains. For example, distributed or decentralized generation of electricity is a fundamental part of environmental sustainability. It consists of the generation of electricity by many small generation sources that are installed near consumption points.

3.- Abandon fossil fuels and promote a rapid and just transition to fully renewable energies, which allow the use of a common good, such as solar or wind energy, so that the wealth generated by using, transforming and using it has an impact on the well-being of the whole society and, especially, of the people who live in the territories close to the uses and, that in no case, the use of energy is done with the criteria of the extractive economy that has practiced productivism. Reuse must be promoted and incentivized through the restoration and repair of already produced goods.
